John Travolta’s misery is over because Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Cheryl Boone Isaacs mentioned the new Adele Dazeem. Read on for further details.
Isaacs pronounced Dick Pope’s last name as “poop” during the announcement of the official Oscar nominees on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2015.
Pope is a nominee for Best Cinematography in the film “Mr. Turner.”
It is not a surprise that Dick Poop became a trend on Twitter.
Because of claims that some Oscar nods do not deserve a spot, famous critic Devin Faraci posted, “Dick Poop sums up these Oscar nominations quite nicely.”

Isaacs’s blunder also reminded the netizens about the infamous Travolta blooper during the 86th Academy Awards. He mistakenly introduced Idina Menzel as “Adele Dazeem” before her “Let It Go” performance.
“We’re looking forward to Dick Poop teaming up with Adele Dazeem to host next year’s ceremony,” Empire Magazine tweeted.

According to E! News, Travolta gave a giant bouquet of flowers for the actress-singer as a form of apology. Menzel received the bouquet in New York at the Richard Rogers Theatre, the stage for her Broadway musical “If/Then.”
Travolta received harsh comments because of his blunder that his Oscars act was coined “Travoltify.” The “Grease” actor admitted feeling beaten by the criticisms. However, according to E! News, the talented victim herself was not having bad feelings at all when the two hugged backstage after the tribute for “Frozen.”
“Mr. Turner” focuses on the true story of British painter J. M. W. Turner in the past quarter century. Turner was greatly affected by his father’s death that led to a close relationship with a landlady, who would live with him secretly in Chelsea. The film follows his journey as he paints, travels, goes to brothels, stays with the aristocrats and eventually straps himself to the ship’s mast to paint a snowstorm.
“Mr. Turner” stars Timothy Spall as J. M. W. Turner, Paul Jesson as William Turner, Dorothy Atkinson as Hannah Danby, Marion Bailey as Sophia Booth and Karl Johnson as Mr. Booth. The film is directed by Mike Leigh.
