You guys! An Adam Lambert and Sam Smith collaboration might be happening soon! Rumor has it, the Queen frontman is building a “little clique” with the Grammy winner. Read on for more details.
In an interview with Attitude Magazine, Lambert gushed about his admiration for Smith. He congratulated Smith on his recent Grammy win and said that he was happy that his sexuality had not been a “big thorn” on his side.
“It was just: ‘This is who I am, I’m cool with it and so you should be too,'” Lambert said in the Attitude Magazine interview.
Since there are only a few openly gay singers in the music industry, people almost automatically assume that Lambert and Smith must become the best of friends. That might sound off as a bit stereotypical, but both singers actually agreed. Adam said that there’s definitely an “understanding” between the two of them.
“I think we’re building a little clique, I hope, but I haven’t met that many,” he said.
It’s still uncertain as to when the much-awaited collaboration between the two singers would take place. He praised Smith for creating songs that are “timeless and beautiful.” He said that the “Stay With Me” singer is actually doing something right by creating tracks that are very relatable. We certainly hope that this two would do a collab, stat!
As we have previously reported, Lambert has his hands full on finishing up his latest album, called “The Original High.” The singer revealed that he will be releasing the first single in his latest album by April. Better watch out for that, Glamberts!
