Adam Lambert’s new album now has a title… and it’s called “The Original High.”

Fans of the “American Idol” singer were treated to a surprise gift right on Adam’s birthday with this special announcement. On his Facebook page, he wrote:

Thank you all for the birthday love! Thrilled to announce the title of my upcoming album: THE ORIGINAL HIGH. The album is executive produced by Max Martin and Shellback, with 1st single out in April.

In just a few minutes after his announcement, the singer’s fans, known as Glamberts, made #theoriginalhigh a trending topic on Twitter. Way to show Adam your support, you guys!

Now, what could we expect with the release of his latest album “The Original High”?

In an interview with Billboard last December, the current frontman for Queen revealed that fans are going to get “really surprised” with how the album is different his previous ones. He shared that the new songs carried a fresh and new beat, and some of it may be a bit more emotional compared to his other releases.

Adam, however, assured his fans would thoroughly enjoy his new offering. He added that working with a new major label Warner Bros had been a great journey in helping him create even better, “greater songs.”

“It feels fresh, it feels new. It’s still me. It’s still stuff that fans know and love but it’s a new chapter 100 percent,” Adam says of the new album.

Adam revealed that he spent two months in Sweden with the producers and writers locked up in a studio. He says it was a “very focused time” which allowed him to reflect on about his life and what he wanted to say to his fans through his new album.
