With their ‘Rock in Rio’ gig scheduled on Sept 18th, we’d expected the guys to arrive about a couple of days ago. But guess what?
They’re already here! Adam Lambert with a couple of his friends from the band ‘Queen’, Roger Taylor and Brian May, was clicked having breakfast in Rio on September 10, reports Masterherald.
Showcasing a new avatar these days, Lambert seems to have toned down on the make-up and the three were seen greeting and meeting with the adoring, screaming fans! The ‘If I Had You’ hitmaker, ‘American Idol’ alumnus appears to have changed his fashion influences, moving away from the divas, opting for a more traditional flat-iron-in-the-mane kind of look. Reportedly, this is also a part of his promotional campaign in the wake of his studio album ‘The Original High’, which was released in June this year.
Though they haven’t made an official statement yet, it would seem the guys are in town beforehand of schedule for the promotion of their latest gig and of course, Lambert’s newest single, ‘Ghost Town’.
Ever glamorous, Adam ‘Glambert’ Lambert, as cited by Socialite Life, is expected to be joining ‘American Idol’ in a stint as a celebrity guest-performer in its 16th season which is to be aired next year. Joining the likes of Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, he will be delivering the prime performance for the show. Lambert will not be judging or coaching the contestants however.
Adam Lambert also confirmed his presence for ‘Live at the Vineyard’s’ 16th musical gig scheduled at Napa Valley this Novemeber. Shaping up the be the hottest gig this year, the event already boasts of quite a few of the coolest names around, such as Rob Thomas, Andrew McMahon, Michael Franti and Nick Fradiani, besides Lambert, James Bay, Gavin James and Leona Lewis.
