It was in 2008 for the romantic blockbuster comedy “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” (A Match Made In Heaven) when Aditya Chopra took charge behind the camera. Seven years later the prolific Indian producer, screenwriter and film distributor recently, announced last Sunday his next directorial venture entitled “Befikre,” which has the tagline, “Those Who Dare To Love.”

According to the Mid-Day, the movie proclamation was even grander for the 44-year-old director as he made it public during his father’s 83rd birth anniversary, the late veteran director Yash Chopra.

Aditya delivered his new project with an electronic mail address to the media via his entertainment conglomerate, Yash Raj films.

“With the blessings of my father, on his 83rd birth anniversary, I’m announcing my next directorial venture after seven years,” the e-letter read. The said letter also contained an “imaginary conversation” between Aditya and his father who until now he still regards as his “Go to Guy.”

The current chairman of YRF openly made it known that his old man always had the aspiration that he will one day be able to direct the “biggest films of YRF,” however, this next undertaking is not to be that.

Aditya also revealed that “Befikre,” which has the premise about love as indicated by the tagline will “probably not” have the promise of being a sensation in his home soil unlike his earlier films like “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” and “Mohabbatein,” but confirms he will totally enjoy making the movie.
