She was one of the most important characters in “Captain America: The First Avenger.” During the times of World War, she was the one who took Steve Rogers to the site where Steve would become the first Super Soldier. So much impressed the makers were with this character; she even got her own TV series. What is more interesting to know that the second season is going to deal more into her personal life.
According to Yibada, after the reported death of Steve aka Captain America when he crashed the plane in the ice, Agent Carter was completely heart broken since she believed that she lost the love of her life. There was something in Steve that made her think he was a noble spirit. A little of their equation was shown in “Captain America: The First Avenger” when Steve was caught kissing the receptionist when he visits Howard Stark (Tony’s father) to get some gadgets that have been assigned to him. Peggy was pretty jealous and pissed off at the fact when she walks away after having a brief conversation with Steve about how he still does not know how to talk to women. Hayley Atwell who portrayed the role in “Captain America: The First Avenger” and in her own TV series, believes that this equation between her character and Steve was much more then that.
She stated that besides the kiss she shared with Steve during the end of the movie, the two were also intimate physically. It was a bit surprising since Chris Evans who plays the role of Captain America believes that the character died a virgin because he crashed the plane in the ice and was presumed dead. It should also be noted that he woke up after almost 70 years, which kind of proves that he is a bit old for dating. However Chris also said that because of Steve’s traditional values, there’s no chance he would have been in a one-night stand.
All other details about her personal life will clear up pretty soon when the second season of the TV series premieres. Fans certainly would want to about who was the man who ends up being Peggy’s love interest after she lost the one.
