Unsurprisingly, Marvel decided to let Dominic Cooper reprise his role as Howard Stark. Prior to this, Cooper has portrayed the role of Howard Stark in the 2011 film “Captain America: The First Avenger”, and in “Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter”, which was also released in the same year.
Howard Stark, the father of Tony Stark, is a genius scientist, inventor, businessman, and the founder of Stark Industries. As a brilliant inventor and engineer, he created weapons and technologies that are often used by S.H.I.E.L.D.. Later on, he and his wife die in a car crash, leaving behind a son, Tony Stark, who would later on inherit the business, Stark Industries, and become Ironman.
In “Agent Carter”, Howard Stark asks for help with some missions from Strategic Science Reserve Agent Peggy Carter. In the end, as she constantly feels that she is ostracized at work, she continues to moonlight for Howard Stark, constantly going on dangerous and daring missions.
Dominic Cooper is an English actor and has had several projects both on the big screen, and the small screen. Aside from appearing in “Captain America: The First Avenger”, Cooper has also appeared in “Sense and Sensibility” (2008), “Mamma Mia!” (2008), “My Week with Marilyn” (2011) and “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” (2012).
