It has also been reported that this became the reason as to why Hirsch finally decided to end “Gravity Falls” due to the fact that the fans’ obsession has opened a wide door that hinders Hirsch from coming up with a good twist for the series. On the other rhand, Hirsch hasn’t confirmed this yet but one thing’s for sure, though, “Gravity Falls” Season 2 will leave fans with a little mystery, which means that there is a 50% chance of us seeing the gang again!

In fact, this Hirsch confirmed that he intentionally did this to make way for “possible ‘Gravity Falls’ projects.” According to Hirsch, “Will every single conceivable question ever though of about ‘Gravity Falls’ be answered in the end? Of course not. But that just leaves some material for any potential ‘Gravity Falls’ projects in the future…”
