After waiting for five long years Disney has finally unveiled a little sneak peak from “Alice Through The Looking Glass.” The series took off from Tim Burtons’ directorial “Alice in Wonderland” which got a loving coming back and turned out to be his biggest hit up till now. “Alice Through The Looking Glass” is both a sequel and a prequel of Tim Burtons’ adaptation. According to Screen Rant, the first look of the flick was revealed at bi-annual event of D23 Expo in Anaheim and the latest one has just arrived showcasing a bit of scene where Alice starred by Mia Wasikowska looks down on a landscape through a door from sky.
“Alice Through The Looking Glass” will reprise the role of Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter who will send Alice on a time journey to correct the wrongs of the past. The journey will be marked with the presence of younger versions of the characters along with some new members joining the board. The cast includes Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Stephen Fry and Michael Sheen to name a few.
There have been a few glitches in the previous parts and confusion with the role of Mad Hatter. The management would definitely want to credit the marketability of Johnny Depps’ association with the film.
Tim Burton will not reprise himself as director rather he will be a part of team as a producer. “Alice Through The Looking Glass” is directed by “The Muppets” fame James Bobin.
The film will be released by Walt Disney on May 27, 2016.
