It’s a big treat for “Days of Our Lives” fans as their favorite characters return to Salem over the year as the show celebrates its 50th anniversary.
One of the returning casts is Alison Sweeney, who played the role as Sami Brady. Alison Sweeney, according to TV Guide, will return to “Days of Our Lives” this year after she left the soap late last year when Sami Brady, her character, decided to pack up, together with her children, and move to Hollywood to work on her movie. Sami decided to leave Salem after her husband, EJ Dimera (James Scott) was killed.
Fans, since her departure, have really been hoping that she would come back to Salem to stay, or maybe just pay a visit. Though Alison Sweeney is busy as the host of “The Biggest Loser” together with her other projects, fans were still hoping that Sami will still return. — And yes, wish granted “Days of Our Lives” fans!
Alison’s return on “Days of Our Lives”, according to Gold Derby, comes after predictions that she will take home the Best Actress for the Emmy’s on her role on the soap, first as a cheated and mistreated wife, and after a grieving widow and a single mother.
The news also confirms that old characters Steve “Patch” Johnson and Bo Brady are returning for DOOL’s 50th anniversary. Also, Actors Stephen Nichols and Peter Reckell will be seen later on this year bringing drama as they are forced to face their ex-wives and deal with their absences.
Definitely these casts’ comebacks will make some great episodes as “Days of Our Lives” celebrates its big 50th anniversary. Any guesses on who else could return to Salem in the upcoming episodes? Tell us in the comments below.
