“Allegiant” actor Ansel Elgort celebrated the wrap on filming the first of the final part of the “Divergent” trilogy, by posting a shirtless picture on his Instagram account with co-star Theo James, who plays the role of Tobias ‘Four’ Eaton. Read on to find out more.
Filming has just finished for “The Divergent Series: Allegiant Part I” and Ansel Elgort seems to be in a festive mood, at least based from his Instagram account. The 21-year-old actor recently posted a picture on his instagram, which showed him shirtless with Theo James, who was donning a black t-shirt and laconically holding a cigarette in his mouth. Elgort, however, was quick to point out modestly that everybody would rather see James shirtless in the caption to the photograph, “ITS A META”FOUR” #Allegiant we are WRAPPED! I know we’d all rather see theo shirtless I’m sorry.”
“The Fault In Our Stars” actor also posted a selfie with his stunt-double Reid Harper, captioning it “#chipotleislife gonna miss my homie and Allegiant stunt [email protected]” It’s a sweet gesture from Elgort, although his love for chipotle might be a bit unwarranted in this case.
“Allegiant: Part I” is one of the two films based on the final installment of the YA “Divergent” books by Veronica James. The series stars Shailene Woodley as the protagonist Beatrice ‘Tris’ Prior and Theo James as Tobias ‘Four’ Eton. Elgort is reprising his role as Beatrice’s brother, the erudite Caleb Prior.
“Divergent: Allegiant – Part One” is slotted for a release on March 18, 2016. The cast and crew will soon begin production for the final film in the series, “Allegiant: Part II,” which is set to release in March 2017.
