Amanda Bynes is rumored to be making a comeback on the ABC show, “Dancing With the Stars.” While nothing has been confirmed yet, as the show is still airing its Season 20, fans are already wishing to see the 29-year-old actress back on screen together with “Hairspray” co-star Zac Efron. Read on to learn more about this scoop.
Amanda Bynes made headlines during the past couple of years following her bizarre tweets and behavior. The “She’s the Man” actress was recently reported by PEOPLE to be doing well and is “much happier” after receiving necessary treatment for her condition. Now, Bynes is reportedly on her way to making a comeback on the ABC show, “Dancing with the Stars.”
The “Easy A” actress is currently negotiating with the producers of the show to show off her dancing skills and compete against other pairs, as “Dancing with the Stars” returns for an all new season in 2016, OK! Magazine reported.
“They think Amanda has a wonderful underdog story and ‘DWTS’ is the perfect forum for her to prove she can entertain while being vulnerable the same time,” the insider added.
The outlet’s source went on and said that the show can be a good way for her to prove that she is doing well and is “back in control of her life.” According to the outlet, if Bynes lands the job, she could receive a whopping amount of $300,000, which is the usual rate for big stars who land a spot in the competition.
Of course, in order for Bynes to land a spot in “DWTS,” she needs to ensure the producers of the show that she is really doing well and is mentally stable. It is not really a wonder how Bynes was rumored to star in the ABC series, as the actress previously showed in the 2007 movie, “Hairspray,” that she has the moves to be in the competition. Bynes starred alongside Zac Efron during that time, which makes some fans wonder if Bynes could possibly be paired next to the “17 Again” star.
