There’s something to freak us out even more besides “Freak Show” because “American Horror Story” has just been renewed for Season 5. Read on to learn more about it.

With the premiere of “American Horror Story: Freak Show” last week, which has become the most-watched telecast in FX history the network ordered another 13-episode fifth installment that will debut next year, October 2015.

According to Mashable, the first episode of “Freak Show ” has raked the series’ most-watched telecast with 10 million viewers in the same-day ratings. A huge percent of that 10 million came from the 18-49 age bracket, which skyrocketed the series to become higher compared to their previous season “Coven.”

“The ‘American Horror Story’ anthology has had the highest growth trajectory of any show in FX history, not to mention an unprecedented track record of success in awards recognition,” said FX CEO John Landgraf in the Mashable article.

This renewal followed after the network ordered another TV series to be created by Ryan Murphy again, “American Crime Story.”
