According to Hypable, creator and showrunner Ryan Murphy originally wanted that Neil Patrick Harris and his husband David Burtka to be on the show. Unfortunately, both roles went to Zachary Quinto and Teddy Sears. They made their debut in the very first installment of “AHS,” which was “Murder House.”
On a positive note, Harris will be seen in "Freak Show." Harris will make his debut when the show returns Jan. 7, 2015. His role would be as Chester, the master illusionist of Elsa’s Cabinet of Curiosities. According to the synopsis, a traveling salesman will get the Twins' attentions as Elsa prepares herself for Hollywood. Meanwhile, Dell will then plan how Jimmy can escape from the police station.
Chester has mastered the art of distraction and illusion, which means that with skills like that, his hands are not that clean. We also have the trailer for you for the upcoming episode, where we will see Harris perform his tricks. Moreover, there is Dandy who failed to cut someone in half, but when Chester did it, he succeeded.
Photos of Harris as Chester have already resurfaced on the Internet. You can click here to see photos.
