Amy Adams admitted that she was stressed about working with Kristen Stewart on the movie adaption involving Jack Kerouac’s acclaimed novel On The Road.
The Oscar nominee told E! Online that she was bombarded with requests to get Stewart’s autograph while working on the brand new movie.
“I got requests for autographs, and I didn’t ask for a single one,” she said. “I guess I’m getting to the point in my life where I’m suspicious of teenagers and I’m intimidated a little bit.
“[Stewart’s|] not a teenager but she’s close enough and I was very intimidated.”
Adams further revealed that she could inform her co-star that she appreciated reading the Twilight novels, but she was surprised at Stewart’s response.
“I told [Stewart|] I read the books and she was like, ‘You’ve read the books?’ She couldn’t compute it, but you have to imagine I was playing this sort of bedraggled drug addict so I’m [sure|] she was like, ‘That doesn’t seem like the audience’. But she was incredibly gracious and lovely.”
On The Road is available in movie theaters in 2011.
