Amy Poehler and Tina Fey kicked off the 72nd annual Golden Globe awards with a side-splitting opening monologue. Returning for their third turn as hosts, Poehler and Fey made some epic disses. Fey began the night by calling the room a “bunch of despicable, spoiled, minimally talented brats.”

Here are the best picks from Poehler and Fey jokes and send-ups at the 72nd annual Golden Globe awards ceremony.

On “Boyhood”

Poehler said explaining Patricia Arquette’s success in “Boyhood” proves that “there are still great roles for women over 40, as long as you get hired when you’re under 40.”

On Oprah Winfrey

Oprah Winfrey, a producer and supporting actor on the Martin Luther King film “Selma,” was also present at the ceremony. “Our next presenter is known by only one name. Please welcome: Winfrey!” said Fey while introducing Oprah. And no one called her by her first name again.

Mentioning Winfrey’s way of life, Fey said, “Oprah is here. She has put a cranberry candle under all of your seats.”

On George Clooney and Amal Almuddin

Poehler and Fey talked about the many humanitarian and human rights accomplishments of George Clooney’s new wife Amal Clooney and then ridiculed them.

“George Clooney married Amal Almuddin this year. Amal is a human rights lawyer who worked on the Enron case, was an adviser to Kofi Annan regarding Syria, and was selected for a three-person UN commission investigating rules of war violations in the Gaza Strip. So tonight her husband is getting a lifetime achievement award.”

On Bill Cosby

Cosby been accused of raping multiple women over decades. “I don’t know if you saw this on the news today,” Fey said. “But Bill Cosby has finally spoken out about the allegations against him. Cosby admitted to a reporter [in her best Cosby impression] ‘I put the pills in the people! The people didn’t want the pills in them,” Fey quipped.

When describing the movie “Into The Woods,” Poehler said, “Cinderella ran away from her prince, Rapunzel was thrown from a tower … and Sleeping Beauty just thought she was getting coffee with Bill Cosby.”

On Steve Carrell

“Steve Carrell is here tonight for ‘Foxcatcher’. He plays a paranoid, murderous billionaire, which was a real stretch for Carrell, who in real life is a paranoid, murderous millionaire,” Poehler said.

On Jennifer Aniston

“Jennifer Aniston is here tonight, nominated for the film Cake. And we should explain to all the people in the room, all the Hollywood people … Cake is like a fluffy dessert that people eat,” Poehler said. Unluckily, Aniston suffered a wardrobe malfunction. While walking up the stairs to present an award, her gown with a side slit split open a bit too wide.

On North Korea

“We celebrate at the great television shows we know and love and all the movies North Korea was OK with. The biggest story in Hollywood this year was when North Korea threatened an attack if Sony Pictures released The Interview. Forcing us all to pretend we wanted to see it. North Korea referred to The Interview as absolutely intolerable and as a wonton act of terror. Even more amazing – not the worst review the movie got,” said Peohler

They weren’t the only ones cracking jokes but many others too.

Jeremy Renner got kaput taking a swift stare at Jennifer Lopez breasts while they presented two awards during the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards: Best TV Movie or Mini-Series and Best Actor in a Mini-Series or TV Movie. While presenting the award for Best Actor in a Mini-Series or TV Movie, Lopez offered to open the envelope and disclose the winner. “You want me to do it? I have the nails,” Lopez asked and Renner replied with a mischievous smirk, “You have the globes too.”

Comedienne Margaret Cho was an outstanding face at the 2015 Golden Globes, but in disguise. Fey and Poehler introduced the general saying, “The Hollywood Foreign Association comprises journalists from all around the globe and we would like to now introduce you to our newest HFPA member. A contributor to Movies Wow magazine and a North Korean army general, Cho Yung Ja. Welcome.”  Pointing satirically to the suspected ruthless mind behind the recent Sony email hacks — Kim Jong-un.  She got a photo opportunity with Hollywood living legend Meryl Streep.
