Marriage can be a difficult thing and probably every couple goes through it at some point of time. When you are a Hollywood power couple like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, it also comes under media scrutiny. “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” actress recently posed for a photo shoot with family and that’s when she admitted to having problems in her marriage.
According to Daily Mail, Angeline Jolie posed for a family photo-shoot for Vogue and talked about having some issues in her marriage while discussing her upcoming movie. Her upcoming movie “By The Sea” tells the story of a couple who take a holiday to France in order to repair their broken marriage.
The movie, according to the actress, is not autobiographical. As far as her real life is concerned, she admitted that her relationship with husband hasn’t been all easy as there are moments of difficulty. Though she did mention that if their characters were anywhere near their problems, “By The Sea” wouldn’t have been possible.
The movie, which is set in the 70’s, marks the real life couple’s first film together since the 2005 release “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” Jolie has directed the movie herself and calls shooting the movie as her honeymoon.
In other news, Independent added that the actress couldn’t wait to turn 50 and know that she made it after both her mother and grandmother were diagnosed with Cancer at the age of 40.
Following both her mother and grandmother’s unfortunate demise by Cancer, the “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” actress got her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed when she discovered that she herself had a 50% chance of developing Cancer. She wished if her mother could make choices like the ones she made. Today, because of the surgery, her risk of getting Cancer has dropped to below 5% and before concluding she added that she could assure her children that they won’t lose her to Cancer.
“By The Sea” releases on Nov. 13, 2015 in the US.
