Angelina Jolie and her hubby Brad Pitt left for Vietnam just before Christmas. The power couple perhaps wanted to get away for a romantic and short getaway. It was just the two of them and fans might find that quite mushy, in a good way.
Many of you are aware that this is the same country where Pax, their twelve-year-old son was born. Jolie and Pitt had adopted Pax in the year 2007 and is one of their six kids. Since then, both of them have visited the country many times.
Pitt, 52, and Jolie, 40, were spotted along with several people as they visited Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. They sailed on a kayak and a speedboat this week in Ha Long Bay.
The gorgeous couple was dressed in casual clothes, wore their sunglasses, and flashed their charming smiles.
According to E! News, it was only last week that Angelina Jolie, her hubby, and all their children were seen in Cambodia, one of Vietnam’s neighboring countries. Incidentally, Cambodia is Maddox’s birthplace. Maddox is the eldest child of the actors and is all of 14 now. They had adopted him in the year 2001.
Jolie is busy with directing one of the Netflix movies that is loosely based on the memoir of Loung Ung, a human rights activist. The memoir is titled “First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers”.
The plot is about the experiences of the author as a child soldier in the 70s when Khmer Rouge ruled over Cambodia.
Apparently, Maddox will take an active part in the movie’s production. This was stated by Netflix in the month of July this year.
Angelina Jolie had earlier remarked that the book penned by Loung affected her deeply. It also made her get closer to the people of her child’s homeland.
