It seems Anne Hathaway had reason to be extra thankful this Thanksgiving. The Oscar winner is expecting her first child with husband Adam Shulman, sources have revealed. Anne, who has spoken openly of her desire to start a family, is thought to be around four or five months pregnant.
The “Les Miserables” star first sparked speculation that she may be expecting when she was pictured in a black dress at the premiere of The Intern in London back on September 27.
And while she has yet to officially confirm her pregnancy, Anne has made no secret of her desire to start a family. Just last year while promoting Rio 2 she said: ‘I’ve wanted to be a mother since I was 16, but I also just knew I wanted to have a career as well.” And back in 2012 during a panel discussion that included Naomi Watts, Helen Hunt, Amy Adams, Rachel Weisz, Marion Cotillard and Sally Field the newlywed told the Hollywood Reporter: “I’m the only one that’s not a mother. I hope to join the ranks soon.’
The typically slender actress has dressed carefully in recent weeks to avoid showing her middle area.
With admirable confidence, celebrity gossip network quoted two unnamed sources saying the actress, who recently turned 33 and admitted to being cyber bullied after winning an academy award in 2014, “is preparing for the role of a lifetime: motherhood!” with her husband, Adam Shulman. The “Dark Knight Rises” star married Shulman in 2012, after four years of dating, and she’s been expressing a desire to have a baby since shortly after they tied the knot.
