The American actor and music producer Ansel Elgort aka Ansolo has become a new addition in the roster of Island Records. His upcoming album is set to come soon in association with Island Records. Read below to know more about his recent project.

Ansolo played his first headline show on Pacha NYC on March 14 this year on the day he turned 21. He had also created “SoundCloud” for publishing electronic dance music. He had released his first record “Unite” on April 21, 2014 on Beatport and on iTunes on May 5, 2014. He was ready to take his music career to the next level and his tie-up with Island Records is likely to be a wonderful decision at an early age.

Island Records reportedly had shown interest in his “special records,” which were said to have been more poppy and radio-friendly. It demanded the best record from Ansolo, which would be loved by all the kids at the dance-music festivals. He will be releasing his first debut single with the British record label on September 18 this year.

“I went to a few different labels and was playing everyone my music, and Island was really interested in stuff I didn’t think labels would be interested in,” Ansolo said in an exclusive conversation with Rolling Stone.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the young and good-looking DJ, who is popularly known for his roles in the movies like “The Fault in Our Stars” (2014), “Divergent” (2014), and “The Divergent Series: Insurgent” (2015), will commence his first international tour on September 12 this year, Las Vegas to be his first city. He will then give stops at TomorrowWorld at Fairburn in Fulton County, Georgia, followed by Ultra Music Festivals to be held in the cities like Singapore, Taipei and Tokyo.
