‘Ant-Man’ Update: Marvel Reveals Ad Supporting Cast Revealed

Marvel has added several new members of its upcoming superhero feature pic “Ant-Man.” For more details on this story read on.

According to Comicbook.com, the new casts include Jordi Molla (Castillo), newcomers Tip “Ti” Harris (Dave), David Dastmalchian (Kurt) and Wood Harris (Gal). The only Castillo character that appears on the comic books is a female physician adept in the studies on metahumans and superheroes. Moreover, it was also reported that the studio has update the movie's synopsis, which now featured Lang and Pym's relationship. M

Marvel’s “Ant-Man” is an upcoming superhero film based on the comic book characters of the same name produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is part of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s (MCU) Phase Three project that will expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe along with “Captain America 3,” “Doctor Strange” and “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” among others.

“Ant-Man” stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang, the titular size-shifting con man turned hero Ant-Man; Michael Douglas as Henry Pym, scientist credited for the discovery of Pym particles, which enables size alteration; and Evangeline Lilly and Corey Stoll who will play Hope Van Dyne and central villain, Darren Cross or Yellow Jacket respectively. John Slattery, who previously played the role of Howard Stark, Tony Stark’s father in “Iron Man 2,” joined the cast along with Judy Greer, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Abby Ryder Fortson, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, Gregg Turkington and rapper-actor T.I.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will produce the film along with Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee as executive producers. “Ant-Man” is directed by Peyton Reed, known for his works including “Bring It On,” “Down with Love” and “The Break-Up.” Peyton Reedtook over after Edgar Wright left the project. “Ant-Man” is set to hit the big screens on July 17, 2015.
