Just a few weeks back, Marvel made a bold announcement of the “Ant Man” sequel – “Ant-Man and the Wasp” and three other un-titled films, as the Studio is planning for Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Read on for the spoilers of the movie.
According to ComicBookMovie.com, The tiny hero, Scott Lang, is once again hitting the screens in the “Ant Man” sequel. Paul Rudd is playing the role of Scott Lang in the sequel film also. Evangeline Lilly is playing as Hope Van Dyne.
The “Ant-Man and the Wasp” brings higher expectations and dreams. In the second installment of “Ant-Man,” it is expected that the super-hero partners – Hank Pym and his wife Janet Van Dyne finally gets the justice that they deserve. It seems that their relationship is going to be a significant part of the sequel film. They are destined to work together on a “high stakes mission” while balancing their relationship. In fact, the source believes that Marvel would not miss out this fact once again.
The sequel film could even focus more about the past history of Hank and Janet before she was killed, in addition to spotlighting Scott and Hope. Janet, who was believed to be dead, was actually transported to the Microverse where she would be finally rescued. Hence, the return of the Winsome Wasp is something we could expect for sure in this sequel.
It would be better if the sequel film includes new threats and great villains like Egghead. Moreover, the source suggested that Pym would be the best person to turn into Giant-Man. However, someone changing into a “super-sized” character is a guarantee in the sequel even if the Giant-Man is missing. In addition, more bugs and more hugs have been expected in the film.
According to Variety, “Ant-Man and the Wasp” is set to hit the theatres on July 6, 2018. The source also reported that the release dates of the highly-anticipated “Black Panther” and “Captain Marvel” would be re-scheduled to February 16, 2018 and March 8, 2019 respectively, because of the second installment of “Ant Man.”
The source further added that the three untitled movies of the Marvel Studios are expected to get their releases in 2020, on May 1, July 10, and November 6, respectively.
We are more excited and cannot wait for the upcoming see Scott and Hope teaming up in the “Ant-Man & the Wasp.” Sound off your thoughts in the comments section.
