“Aquarius” star David Duchovny proves that he is a certified ladies’ man aside from his good looks. Read on to know why.
Duchovny kissed his “The X-Files” co-star, Gillian Anderson, during their duet performance to Neil Young’s song “Helpless.” Mirror Online reported that Duchovny was performing for his brand new folk-rock album “Hell or Highwater” in New York’s Cutting Room.
Duchovny and Anderson are known for their “alien hunter duo” as Mulder and Scully. They were starring in “The X-Files” until 2002 for a total of nine years. The duo was reunited for a 2008 movie.
Similar to Netflix, the “all-at-once model” is adopted by NBC for its new Charles Manson series “Aquarius.” Hollywood Reporter stated that all of the episodes would be available on the NBC app, VOD and NBC.com at the same night as the two-hour premiere of the drama.
NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt explained that they used “Aquarius” to be the breakthrough on the history of broadcast networks. He said the network is aware of the trend that more audiences preferred to watch multiple episodes of the newest shows “faster and at their own discretion.” He claimed the enthusiasm shown by the show’s producers and NBC’s partner, Tomorrow Studios’ Marty Adelstein, for launching a show “in a new, forward-thinking way.”
“Aquarius” stars David Duchovny as Detective Sam Hodiak, Emma Dumont, Gethin Anthony and Grey Damon.
“Aquarius” is the first TV series from a broadcast network to have all of its episodes aired on other platforms. It will focus on the 1967 setting in Los Angeles which has witnessed the two-year struggle to solve the Manson murders. The one-hour episodes will air every Thursday at 9:00 p.m. on NBC.
