After a beautiful wedding last September 2014, George Clooney and his wife Amal Alamuddin have been the subject of recent pregnancy rumors popping up lately. Just how far is this rumor from the truth?
Earlier this month, Amal made news when she was seen with what looked like a baby bump. However, representatives for the couple confirmed that she wasn’t pregnant. Now, Stars magazine claims that the couple are expecting a honeymoon baby and are very excited about it.
“This has been such a whirlwind for Amal. First she married one of the most famous men in the world after a short, intense romance, and now she is expecting her first child so soon after the wedding. Everything is happening so fast, but she is so thrilled about all of it,” a source confirmed, as published on Belfast Telegraph.
The Clooneys have not made any official statements yet regarding this new pregnancy rumor. According to the source, the couple allegedly have not made a formal announcement yet because Amal is still in her first trimester and is considered not in the "safe zone" of her pregnancy yet.
If Amal really is pregnant, will the news become that much of an issue for the couple?
“Amal has always wanted children and it's no coincidence she quit smoking back in the summer. George says he didn't want kids until he met Amal but she completely changed his mind. He'd do anything to make her happy and he's realised they would make very loving parents. They would love their own children but have also discussed adoption,” a source told the British magazine Grazia.
Previously known as one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors since his short-lived marriage with Talia Balsam, Clooney married his new bride in an Italian wedding at Ca' Farsetti. Last Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, Amal topped Barbara Walters’ "10 Most Fascinating People of 2014," with one of the cited reasons being her marriage to George.
