Rumors just won’t die down over news that Oscar darlings, Lupita Nyong’o and Jared Leto, are dating. Are they the latest interracial couple in Hollywood?
The “12 Years a Slave” Oscar-winner, Lupita Nyong’o and fellow “Dallas Byers Club” Academy Awardee Jared Leto were seen dancing up a storm and flirting together at the 2015 SAG Awards afterparty at the Sunset Tower over the weekend, and tongues couldn’t stop wagging over the couple who may or may not be an item.
According to witnesses, Nyong’o and Leto appeared to be having so much fun together, chatting and tearing up the dance floor. And while no apparent PDA seemed to be happening, they looked to be seriously into each other to the exclusion of everyone else.
The buzz began in last year when the long-haired Leto expressed his crush on Nyong’o during the Independent Spirit Awards.
“To all the women I have slept with and those who think they’ve slept with me. And [to] my future ex-wife Lupita!” the method actor announced during his thank-you speech, as published on Web Pro News.
It continued in April 2014 when the 31-year-old Mexican-Kenyan actress and the 42-year-old “Thirty Seconds to Mars” frontman flirted in front of the cameras at the MTV Movie Awards, after they both won big at the Oscars a few months previously.

Rumors have been going around that the pair were surreptitiously dating during Paris Fashion Week last year, despite a tongue-in-cheek quip by Nyong’o, involving “Wrecking Ball” singer, Miley Cyrus.
“Ah, but I thought Miley Cyrus broke us up,” she smirked during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” “That was the last thing I heard.”
Meanwhile, Nyong’o is said to have broken up with her steady date, Canadian rapper K’naan. Do you think both Oscar winners are going to make it official soon?
