After their alleged "marriage" in Miami, it seems things have been cooling off a bit between Patrick Schwarzenegger and Miley Cyrus. Or have they?
For the past few days, Schwarzenegger has been spending more time with his family. On Thursday, Dec. 18, 2014, he was spotted having lunch at The Ivy in Santa Monica with his mother, Maria Shriver, and his older sisters Katherine and Christina.
Cyrus, on the other hand, went on a road trip on Dec. 17, 2014 with her friends Cheyne, Katy Weaver and The Flaming Lips’ lead singer Wayne Coyne. Their first destination was reportedly in the Grand Canyon in Arizona. After two days there, they went to Coyne’s hometown in Oklahoma City, where she attended two wild holiday parties. In one party, held at the Womb Gallery, Coyne posted a photo of Cyrus drawing tattoos for people.
With miles separating them, have they also decided to cool things off between them because of the pressure brought down to them by Schwarzenegger’s family?
Don’t be too sure just yet. While she was on the road trip, Cyrus posted a photo at Instagram, showing her curled up in bed while waiting for her FaceTime to reconnect, presumably to contact Schwarzenegger. She then captioned it with, “come back I mishhhh yiew.”
Then again, one can’t help but worry when, after her road trip, Cyrus posted the lyrics of two sad love songs over at Instagram. One was rock band Young the Giant’s "Islands" and the other was Frank Ocean‘s "Forrest Gump."
Not to mention, with the rumors of the couple tying the knot over at Miami reportedly horrifying Shriver, there’s no doubt that she’ll redouble her efforts in breaking their relationship.
“[Shriver’s] hoping that [Patrick] will come to his senses and realize that Miley does not fit in his world,” source close to the couple told HollywoodLife.com
