It’s time for another edition of “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets About Themselves” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” For the second music edition of the widely popular segment, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, 5SOS, Iggy Azalea, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith were among the entertainers from the music industry to read mean tweets posted about them on Twitter.
Even Perry, who just gave an epic Super Bowl performance, wasn’t spared of the criticism from haters.
“Katy Perry has a voice that reminds me of balls covered in glass sliding down my throat. Nice gal.” A user said in his tweet.
The tweets get even meaner for 5 Seconds of Summer when a user said that “I’d bathe in my own vomit than go see 5 Seconds of Summer.”
Watching “Celebrities Read Mean Tweets” is such a guilty pleasure for some. Well, fans of Jimmy Kimmel Live better not miss this one. This has got to be the most star-studded segment of all time.
It’s no surprise that these celebrities had tons of haters. After all, you can’t get popular without stepping on a few toes. We just can’t believe how hurtful some of the comments are.
If there’s one celebrity who’s been a pro at handling haters, it’s got to be Ariana Grande. The “Bang Bang” singer recently made headlines when she was accused of acting like a diva on set. Rumor has it, she even asks her bodyguards to carry her when she doesn’t feel like walking. Sounds ridiculous, right?
Ariana admitted that she used to get bothered with all the criticism thrown her way but now she just keep still and let them slide. Way to go, Ariana!
“I do what my family has always told me, which is just: ‘Know my truth, work hard, be nice to everyone you meet, not fight back and just be a lady,'” Grande told told ET Online.
