Arrow Recap: Season 2 Episode 22 Streets of Fire [WATCH VIDEO]

“Arrow” Season 2 has ended and while waiting for “Arrow” Season 3, let’s take a look at some of the episodes that left a mark with viewers. Check out MNG’s Arrow Recap: Season 2 Episode 22 Streets of Fire.” This is “Arrow” Season 2′ penultimate episode before the season finale “Unthinkable.”

In “Arrow” Season 2 Episode 22 “Streets of Fire,” Slade (Manu Bennett) and his mirakuru-empowered soldiers marched to Starling City. Thea (Willa Holland) finally came face to face with her real father Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman). Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) received a call from Star Labs that could possibly change the game for them.

Nyssa al Ghul’s (Katrina Law) also came back. Remember when Sara (Caity Lotz) left on Episode 20 “Seeing Red?” Well, she is bringing some friends to help Team Arrow fight Slade’s soldiers.

Andrew Kreisberg, executive producer of the show, explained to Entertainment Weekly about Sara’s leaving and hinted about the action-packed season finale of “Arrow.”

“She went to go get help. Because when you’re fighting an army, you need an army,” said Kreisberg in the Entertainment Weekly feature. As for the battle, he mentioned the key players that the viewers should watched out for.

“It’s the Arrow, Canary and Roy and the League of Assassins versus Slade and his Mirakuru army for the city,” added Kreisberg in the Entertainment Weekly report.

“Arrow” Season 2 Episode 22 “Streets of Fire” was written by Ben Sokolowski and Jake Coburn. It is directed by Nick Corpus. It aired on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.

According to TV by the Numbers, “Arrow,” along with other shows such as “Modern Family,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “The Middle,” “Suburgatory” and “American Idol” were adjusted up a tenth among adults 18-49 versus the preliminary Wednesday broadcast ratings. “Arrow” Season 2 Episode 22 “Streets of Fire” reportedly had 2.33 million viewers. Unfortunately, it was unable to beat “Survivor” which got 9.91 viewers and “American Idol” which got 7.97 viewers.
