We know that you are dying to find out how your favorite “Arrow” characters will play out in Season 3. Executive producer Marc Guggenheim reveals to TV Line what Season 3 has in store for each character. Read on to learn more about this scoop.

Aside from Brandon Routh (“Superman Returns”) joining the cast as Ray Palmer/The Atom, Guggenheim described what fans can expect about how each beloved “Arrow” character evolves as the story progresses. As for Laurel, she will definitely be on board the Team Arrow, especially now that she knows Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) secret. Guggenheim teased about a great scene in Episode 3 with Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). He admitted that the team had a tough time trying to put them together in one scene during Seasons 1 and 2.

Diggle (David Ramsey) is going to be a dad. As revealed in Season 2, Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) is pregnant. The executive producer promised that there will be major storylines focusing on Diggle. He said that Episode 3 is “very Diggle-oriented.”

Meanwhile, Guggenheim highlighted that Season 3 is the time where Roy (Colton Haynes) shines. He admitted that Season 2 had shortcomings in introducing and developing Roy’s character into the Team Arrow. He noted that the character’s presence will not only be seen for the upcoming season but also felt.

“He went through this major trauma, and we always said that was necessary for him to become a hero. But this is the year we get to play with all of that,” explained Guggenheim in the TV Line report.

However, when asked about Thea (Willa Holland), who was last seen hopping in Malcolm Merlyn’s (John Barrowman), her father, limo, Guggenheim clarified that there will be flashbacks from the Season 2 finale, focusing on Thea and Malcolm’s conversation. The fans are going to find out what their conversation was all about in Season 3.
