Watch out for the death of an essential character (no way!) in the upcoming episode of “Arrow” Season 3 Episode 17 “Suicidal Tendencies,” which airs on Wednesday, Mar. 25, 2015, at 8:00 p.m. on The CW. Read on to know who possibly says goodbye for good.
After Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) refused the offer (or demand, actually) of Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable), an impending doom awaits for Team Arrow. Franchise Herald wrote that the official synopsis revealed the return of Suicide Squad. With the looming threat of the deadly group, John Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla Michaels (Audrey Marie Anderson) finally get married but are suddenly interrupted by Deadshot (Michael Rowe) during their honeymoon to break the news. Also, do not miss the intense battle between Arrow and Atom (Brandon Routh).
According to Entertainment Weekly (EW), rumors started to surface regarding an important character’s death. Speculations came from the cast itself when Amell and Colton Haynes (Roy Harper) posted on Twitter about an emotional farewell. Amell tweeted about “real feelings” despite being scripted while Haynes had “a rough night” because of uncontrolled emotions. Fans were definitely shocked and curious, based on the comments.
Sometimes real feelings creep into a scene. Goodbyes are tough. Even when they're scripted.

What a rough night. Probably the most difficult day I've had at work in my life. So many emotions all around that couldn't be controlled

Even Emily Bett Rickard (Felicity Smoak) added to the drama when she confirmed that fans would definitely be “heartbroken again” as the third season slowly comes to an end. Her violent reaction regarding a character’s death (repetitive “who dies?” stunt) and Amell’s emotional tweet gave some fans a reason to think that Felicity is the one going to die (let’s hope not!).
Now, what do the higher-ups have to say about the rumors? Executive producer Marc Guggenheim told EW at PaleyFest 2015 that he is not confirming anything. However, he revealed that more surprises are coming and there is a “strong possibility” of someone not finishing the third season.
Another executive producer, Greg Berlanti, added that TV characters naturally “come and go” and admitted trying to do it “in the right way.”
In the 16th episode entitled “The Offer,” Oliver refused to be the League of Assassin’s leader, which was offered by Ra’s. In the end, Ra’s fought some goons in an Arrow costume and threatened a survivor to spread the news.
