The CW’s green hooded archer and his allies and enemies will be back for more superhero action in “Arrow” Season 4, but until then, several hints and teases have been dropped as to what viewers and fans might expect will happen to Oliver Queen and his allies.
Just recently, TV Junkies managed to sit down with actor Stephen Amell, who gave another hint as to what to expect, and in particular, what kind of dynamics to expect from Team Arrow come October. Also, Melty has released the official synopsis of the fourth season, which also tease what is to come for them. Read on to learn more about this story.
The CW’s DC based hooded archer, Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and his allies and enemies will return for more superhero comic book adventures come October 7, 2015. However, as the season premiere is still months away, Melty has released the official synopsis of the fourth season, which give fans and viewers a glimpse as to what will be happening in the upcoming season.
At the end of the third season, Oliver managed to leave Starling City with his longtime romantic interest, computer expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), who currently works for genius inventor Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh). However, will Oliver really be able to leave his old life behind for good, or will he come back to Starling City for more new adventures?
Also, in his absence, has bodyguard John Diggle (David Ramsey), Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) and Thea Queen (Willa Holland) been able to pick up the Arrow’s mantle and crusade? The synopsis teases the return of Jack Barrowman as Malcolm Merlyn, who is now the new Ra’s al Ghul, which begs the question if the world is truly safe from him and the League of Assassins.
TV Junkies also managed to sit down with Amell, who dropped hints as to the condition of Team Arrow when October comes.
According to the interview, Amell stated that he believed that when the season premieres, which will be several months after the events of the third season, he and Felicity wouldn’t yet be back in Starling City, which meant that his team, now consisting of Laurel, Diggle and Thea, have been operating on their own as Team Arrow.
He then teased, based on the first couple of scripts that he had been given for the season, that viewers and fans will be returning to a show that is still very much true to its core, but there will be new elements and new dynamics with regards to the characters. He went on to mention that viewers and fans should expect to see interesting dynamics and team ups between several characters who are not necessarily friends, and who don’t usually get along with other. This might mean a team up between Thea or Diggle, or Thea or Laurel, and the like. The specific team ups and pairings, weren’t specified by the actor.
