‘Arrow’ Update: Felicity Reveals Her Smoke

For the next episode of “Arrow,” Felicity Smoak, played by Emily Bett Rickards, reveals the smoke in her bright visage. Read on to know more about this update.

In the previous episode of “Arrow,” "The Magician," Felicity (Rickards) didn’t get enough screen time because she went for a crossover in “The Flash” and helped Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and his team with their crime fighting scheme and some other personal issues. It is there that Felicity pointed out that every team is different and explained how fortunate he is to have an intact team, contrary to what Arrow (Stephen Amell) had to do to slowly build up his team.

On the feature by Screen Rant, one of CW’s most prominent TV series, “Arrow,” unfolded in a way that brought out the story of everyone in the team and how they came to the decision to join Arrow and his crusade for ridding Starling City of ominous threats — all but one, Felicity Smoak. From TV Line, they featured pictures of Felicity’s previous life before she became the prim-and-proper-yet-awkward-techno-aficionado as it got triggered when her mother, Donna Smoak, played by “NYPD Blue’s” Charlotte Ross, pays her a visit.

Looking back to the origins of Team Arrow, Oliver Queen (Amell) changed in the five years that he was away from home, and the series is still slowly showing how he came in to terms with being his present self. John Diggle (David Ramsey) used to be a soldier whose gone through a lot but emerged to be a well endowed and very reasonable man. There’s Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) who joins the team after a series of unfortunate events that led him to becoming one of the Mirakuru serum’s successful test subject and got cured for it as well. Lastly, the late Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), who basically went through the same trials Oliver did before she joined the League of Assassins.

Viewers will finally understand how Felicity came to be how she is currently in “Arrow’s” next episode,  "The Secret Origin of Felicity Smoak," which premieres on Thursday at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.

That ends our update for “Arrow’s” next episode. Keep tabs on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates on your favorite TV shows, movies and celebrities.
