The “Arrow/Flash Spinoff” series has just added a new cast member! British actor Franz Drameh is joining The CW’s new series as Jay Jackson.

Jay Jackson is a high school athlete but is then kicked off the team due to his injury. He now works as an auto mechanic and that’s when he will have a connection to the crew of the S.T.A.R Labs.

We’ve seen Drameh in “Edge of Tomorrow” and “Hereafter.” He will also be starring in the upcoming movie “A Hundred Streets” together with Gemma Arterton and Idris Elba.

Drameh’s character in the show doesn’t really exist in the comic books but his character description is similar to Vic Stone or Cyborg. In fact, in the revamp of “Justice League” in 2011, Vic shares the same description as Jackson’s character in the show.

The “Arrow/Flash Spinoff” is said to be titled “Legends” yet no one has confirmed this yet. This spinoff series will focus on the heroes of “The Flash” and “Arrow.” So far, the confirmed cast for this spinoff are Brandon Routh who will play the role of Ray Palmer or The Atom, Victor Garber as Martin Stein, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave, Ciare Renee as Hawkgirl and Caity Lotz whose character hasn’t been confirmed yet. Rumors are flying around that she might play the role of White Canary.

The first season of the show may contain 13-episodes, which will premiere next year (2016).

What do you think of Frameh’s character? Do you think he’s the perfect fit for Jackson’s character? Are you excited for the spinoff series? Let us know by posting your comments below!
