Fans are really excited on the movie adaptation of the popular video game series “Assassin’s Creed,” so while its lead actor, Fassbender remains mum about his newest film, it seems like the Head of Content Azaïzia Aymar can’t help but give some details on what to expect from the upcoming movie. Did they make any change in the movie?
According to Blastr, [depending on the videogame] “Assassin’s Creed” takes place at different places and time in history, and at the same time it is set in the modern world.
This only means that the lead actor, according to Aymar, is set to portray two characters in the movie; one is Callum Lynch and the other one is Aguilar, his ancestor in the past.
Moreover Yahoo News source said that the 38-year-old actor’s [Fassbender] modern-day character does not exist in the videogame series. In fact, it’s a new assassin character.
Based on Aymar’s Twitter post, it appears that moviegoers will not be able to see Connor, Altair and Ezio, but he promised that there are possibilities that fans may find some familiar faces in the movie.
Adding on, the storyline revolves around Callum, he is said to be living in a modern-day setting, and then as time pass by, he will discover that he is a descendant of a secret society of Assassin’s.
He will then use the Animus to go back into the past and continue his ancestor’s [Aguilar] adventures. While he is on his journey, he will gain the skill and expertise of an assassin that will eventually be useful in fighting his rival, Knights Templar in the present time.
Meanwhile, when it comes to the movie’s protagonist, Ubisoft Motion Pictures shared a photo of Michael Fassbender in a suit.
Moreover, the live-action film adaptation of “Assassin’s Creed” is set to have its premiere next year, December 2016.
Justin Kurzel will be the movie’s director while Michael Lesslie together with Adam Cooper and Bill Collage will pen the story.
