“The Astronaut Wives Club” Season 1 finale is upon us. Are they going to make it all the way to the moon? Well, we have some spoilers for you below:
First off, the season 1 finale of “The Astronaut Wives Club” is entitled “Landing.” And that rings a bell… and somehow gives off the impression that they are finally landing on the moon. Read the synopsis below:
“It’s 1969, and Apollo 11’s historic moon landing is cause for worldwide celebration and a high point for the Astro-families. The wives are interviewed for a TV documentary on the space program, Gordo is passed over for the next mission, and Trudy faces some big decisions about her personal and professional future. Betty finds a powerful way to honor Gus’s legacy and advocate for change. In April 1970, the nation watches the fraught voyage of Apollo 13.”
With that being said, it is a good way to end the series and once they have landed, there’s nothing more story to tell, though. Is this the end of the series? That is a question some fans have.
Just recently, “The Astronaut Wives Club” ratings on ABC have gone higher and this is such great news to the network. However, with the show finally wrapping up their first season, will a renewal be on the way or will ABC leave it as it is. The Season 1 finale is ending on a high note, not leaving fans with disappointment unless it leaves us a cliffhanger, which only means that we might be looking at a Season 2.
