Now that the Survey Corps or Scouting Legion is bent on retaking the Wall Maria, fans were expecting death of at least one major character.
“Attack on Titan” Chapter 73 spoiler predictions by ‘Alphalkaros’ over Manga Helpers said Levi Ackerman raised a death flag. It was also stated by some that the feeling the “Attack on Titan” Chapter 72 impressed on readers was somewhat calm before an imminent storm.
Since a battle is expected to erupt in the next chapter, ‘PIXISSUUU’ believes Levi to do something to protect his squad and that included Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, and Armin Arlert (the Shiganshina Trio).
‘Shiganshina’ said Levi cared very much for his three young corps members; so, it was expected that Levi would do everything to protect them. In fact, Levi might choose between the Shiganshina Trio and fellow Survey Corps Erwin Smith when the going gets tough.
Speaking about Erwin, ‘mattiaildivino’ thought the character is clearly planning on something. He said Erwin might bypass the Survey Corps to reach the basement first.
Other “Attack on Titan” Chapter 73 spoiler predictions said Erwin might be the person to die since a death flag was raised over his head since execution. It was said that Erwin might be the one who would inject the serum in his arm and transform into a Titan
‘Eigengaru’ said if Erwin becomes a Titan, he would most probably keep what he knew about the basement since he was very adamant in going there. Worst case scenario, he might eat Eren to acquire Coordinate powers and become the next King who has an own will.
