It’s been almost six years when “Avatar” released in theaters in 2009, and 2015 is about to end and we have gathered important information for you guys about sequel of the movie. Keep reading to get insights about “Avatar 2”!
Director James Cameron, 61, has confirmed that 66-year-old Sigourney Weaver would surely make a comeback in “Avatar 2” and also in part 3 and 4. The news might surprise many fans because in the previous movie, her character, Grace Augustine had died.
On this Cameron has said to Guardian, “Sigourney and I have a long creative history, dating back to 1985 when we made Aliens.” He explained that they are very good friends and when working together, they face no problems. He also added that he feels good that she would be coming back in the sequels.
The names of other actors to be starred in “Avatar 2” also include the name of actor Stephen Lang, 63. He would be seen as villain Colonel Quaritch in the sequel. In “Avatar,” viewers had seen him getting arrows piercing in his chest. Fans would also be happy to find Sam Worthington, 39, in the upcoming sequel and playing the role of Jake Sully. Zoe Saldana, 37, would play the role of Neytiri too.
About the plot, the bit of information is Grace Augustine who had died in “Avatar” would play a very different character in “Avatar2.” Fans would find that her character is very challenging and not at all like it was in “Avatar.”
Weaver had shed some light on the plot of “Avatar 2” previously by saying that in a science fiction no character really dies. She didn’t reveal much about the plot though she knows the complete script. She said that “Avatar 2” was “wonderful and there’s a real treat in store.”
