Everyone loved “Avengers: Age of Ultron” especially when Tony Stark’s creation Ultron wrecks havoc on them and tries to finish humanity. If you loved that then you will probably even more enjoy behind the scenes action that reveals how the makers made it happen what we saw in the movie. New updates about the same have been revealed in the Blu-ray disc and DVD’s that is releasing on September 8th.
According to Movie Web, fans will be able to know more about behind the scenes action when the movie will release in 3D digital, Blu-ray and DVDs. From the information that the fans will be able to see in the DVD release, it will also include character featurettes, which will delve more into how James Spader transformed himself as the megalomaniacal robot Ultron, how Paul Bettany managed with the extensive makeup required for Vision and a little bit struggle that Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron-Taylor Johnson had to go through when they were shooting their scenes.
The behind the scenes footage starts with Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans and Mark Ruffalo sharing their experience of working with James Spader and how enigmatic his presence was on the sets. Andy Serkis, who had a short stint in the movie as Ulysses Klaue, was brought on the set as a consultant for the motion capture suits, James and Mark had to use. Other funny incident is when Elizabeth Olsen, who plays the role of Scarlet Witch in the movie, had to look at the fake eyes that were attached to the rod, which was further fixed to James’s motion capture suit since the makers had to show the much increased size that Ultron achieves later in the movie.
Elizabeth mentioned that it was kind of irritating for her because she was missing watching James Spader’s performance as Ultron. On the other hand, Paul Bettany too reminisces how much time it used to take just for his make up and what difficulties he had to go through during the making.
IMDb mentioned that both Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen worked with director Joss Whedon to further develop their character’s superpowers. This footage will also show executives like Victoria Alonso and visual effects supervisor Christopher Townsend as to how did they come up with the twins’ powers. “Avengers: Age of Ultron” will release on September 8th on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD.
