‘Avengers: Infinity War:’ 3 Heroes Who Could Probably Defeat The Mad Titan Thanos!

“Avengers: Infinity War” is going to mark the biggest threat “Avengers” have ever faced and after sitting on that really cool throne of his, the mad Titan Thanos will finally invade Earth in search of the infinity stone and in the process do what he does the best, destruction. Things will get messy because Thanos will have an assembled Infinity Gauntlet in “Avengers: Infinity War” and with that God like powers there won’t be anyone who will be able to go head on against him.

Still, as they say no matter how powerful the evil gets, it always falls short in front of the good. Here are three heroes who we think will be able to do a significant damage to the mad Titan Thanos in a one on one battle.

First on the list is Thor, the Mighty God of Thunder. Apart from being one of the most powerful Gods, Thor also happens to be Odin’s son. All of us are aware of the equation that Odin and Thor share and given the fact that Thor alone won’t be able to take down Thanos, he might just need a little assistance from his old man.

Odin’s powers are considered to be invincible in the Marvel Universe; he can accomplish things that no one can imagine doing. What Culture noted that one of the strongest powers that Odin possesses is the Odinforce. This power of his gives him the ability to do many things like decide who is worthy enough to wield the Mjolnir, stay invincible and open portals to various other realms without even using the bifrost.

So, if he were to pass on this power to his son Thor and if Thor were to somehow incorporate his father’s powers with his Mjolnir, there are chances that the God of Thunder might just come out alive from the battle against Thanos and even deliver a few hits on Thanos.

Second contender is a rather wise one; he happens to be the Earth’s Sorcerer Supreme and has expertise in the mystic arts. Doctor Strange learnt everything he knows about magic from Ancient One, who himself was Earth’s Sorcerer Supreme.

Doctor Strange has the ability to move between different realms very easily and in his time has faced beings that are way more powerful than the mad titan himself. One such example is Shuma Gorath who is undoubtedly more powerful than Thanos and after having clashed with him, Doctor Strange still lived.

So, with the powers to travel between different realms, maybe Stephen could somehow strip Thanos off his Infinity Gauntlet only to later preserve it somewhere and send Thanos off to some other dimension. Either this or he could just turn off the effects of the Infinity Gauntlet making it a mere glove and throwing Thanos in some other realm. The only thing is that Doctor Strange will have to stay protected if he were to do something like this.

Finally in the comics it was Drax, the Destroyer who ultimately killed Thanos by ripping his heart out but since “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2” director James Gunn clearly mentioned that the Guardians have nothing to do with the “Avengers” maybe any other hero who manages to get hold of the Infinity Gauntlet can kill Thanos. This could happen once Doctor Strange does get the Infinity Gauntlet off from Thanos’ hand and place it on any hero preferably Hulk or Thor, the mad Titan will surely go down.

According to Telegraph, “Avengers: Infinity War,” which is still far from release will reportedly have a budget of $1 billion and will be paying $200 million to Robert Downey Jr. alone to reprise his role as Iron Man. Given the magnanimous budget and plans, “Avengers: Infinity War” will be the biggest superhero movie of all time.
