Avengers: Infinity War is Marvel’s mega project. The movie is currently underway and will see Thanos finally making a full-blown appearance. With the mad titan going up against Marvel heroes, there will be some casualty on the hero side.

Here are six heroes who could die in the movie.

Captain America

Chris Evans has been Captain America for a while now. His last appearance in MCU was in Captain America: Civil War. Avengers were divided and Captain America took refuge in Wakanda without anyone knowing.

With Evans’ Marvel contract coming to an end with Avengers: Infinity War, there are chances this movie will see his character meeting its end. Since Captain America is an excellent leader, he could die carrying out his duties.

He might sacrifice himself in order to save other heroes.

Drax, the Destroyer

WhatCulture reported that Dave Bautista’s Drax, the Destroyer could be the other hero who could die. According to the outlet, he has an over-confident mentality, which might lead to his device.

Much like how he charged Ronan in Guardians of the Galaxy and ended up getting seriously hurt, he could try the same with Thanos. Only this time around Thanos’ attacks would be so powerful because of the infinity stones and Drax might not survive it.

Hawkeye

Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye is probably the most at risk hero in MCU. He has been fighting alongside Avengers using only a bow and an arrow. With Thanos as the main villain, a set of arrows and a bow might not be enough for Clint to save himself from Thanos.

He could easily be one of the heroes who could perish early on in the movie just because his weapons were simply not powerful enough to even defend himself.

Loki

Tom Hiddleston’s Loki has had an amazing run in MCU. There are fans who consider him much better than other heroes in the cinematic universe. His presence is so dynamic that he can light up any movie he is in.

However, he might reach his end in Avengers: Infinity War. He was tasked to retrieve a stone for Thanos in The Avengers but he failed miserably.

Looking at his failure and getting angry with his mischievous attitude, Thanos could simply destroy the God of Mischief. Also, if he chooses to side with the heroes or betray Thanos at any point, he certainly would be meeting his end.

Vision

Vision is the next hero who could die in the movie. Every Marvel fan has predicted his death due to the Infinity stone on his head.

Thanos will be seeking all the Infinity stones for the Gauntlet and killing Vision will be the only way for the mad titan to fulfill his dream of killing all life in the universe.

One can imagine Vision’s death will be the most brutal of all because chances are, Thanos will rip that Infinity stone right from his head. However, before dying, Stark’s creation will certainly give up a good fight.

Iron Man

Robert Downey Jr. has Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel included in his Marvel contract. After Captain America perishes, Iron Man would take it on himself to anyhow destroy Thanos and save everyone.

Much like his friend, he might choose to give up his life just so that others can stay alive. But before he dies, he will certainly make sure to figure out a way to defeat Thanos and to keep the stones really far away from everyone’s reach.

Also, once Thanos is out of the way, Doctor Strange could resurrect Iron Man using one of his spells and bring him back. With major destruction to follow, it remains to be seen which Marvel characters survive the events of the movie.

Avengers: Infinity War will release next year on May 4.
