Marvel didn’t make their presence felt at the San Diego Comic Con, but this news was probably something they were holding on to so that they could reveal at a later date. Coming straight out of New York Comic Con are two of the biggest surprises from the Marvel camp. Read on to know about the surprises related to “Avengers: Infinity War- Part I and II” in details.
According to Screen Rant, Marvel revealed further details about their upcoming movies “Avengers: Infinity War- Part I and II” and this year’s already released “Ant-Man.”
News is that Marvel has announced a sequel to “Ant-Man” titled “Ant-Man and the Wasp,” which is said to release in 2018 and apart from the above two movies the studio has also promised to release three additional movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the year 2020 alone, which can only mean that their Cinematic universe has no plans to stop anytime soon.
Coming back to the announcements, “Ant-Man” took everyone by surprise but what is being said about “Avengers: Infinity War- Part I and II” will surely shock you.
It is being said that “Avengers: Infinity War- Part I and II” will reportedly have a production budget of $1 billion. Yes, a billion dollars for the two-part showdown between the “Avengers” and the mad titan Thanos. Now here’s the shocking part, from the billion dollar budget, it is being said that $400 million have been allotted for the payments that will be made to the screenwriter, director, producer and actors of the movie.
This exorbitant amount is said to be $200 million more than the entire budget of any Hollywood blockbuster. The last time a billion dollar budget was announced, it was for the James Cameron directed “Avatar” franchise, but the budget was to cover three movies within the franchise.
Despite the fact that both “Avengers” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” have grossed more than a billion dollars at the box office, having a budget of billion dollars seems a bit unbelievable. One wouldn’t be able to imagine how much will both the movies make if the budget itself is that huge.
Comicbook.com added that the report from Bleeding Cool also states that “Avengers: Infinity War- Part I and II” does not have a script or even a plot yet, so believing a news like this, can become a bit difficult. Whether or not “Avengers: Infinity War” will have a billion dollar budget remains to be seen for later because until we don’t have a plot or a script, making an estimate on the budget is not at all possible.
