“The Bachelor” season 20 will have two Bachelors, similar to “The Bachelorette” 2015. The ABC reality series host Chris Harrison revealed that fans can expect a major twist very much similar to Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season.
In an interview with Reality TV World, Harrison revealed that having two Bachelors is a definite possibility in “The Bachelor” 2016. The host, however, pointed out that having two Bachelorettes have been a lot of work and has put a strain on both the cast and crew. He said that although the showorunners are open to the possibility of having two Bachelors in season 20, they had to be practical.
“The first couple of nights were extremely difficult for production. It was a brutal task to pull that off. But it made sense because so many people wanted both of them,” he said.
Harrison also said that the ABC executives have yet to pick the next Bachelor. He said that rumors claiming that Ben Higgins has already come on board is definitely not true.
In an interview with People, Higgins also confirmed that he has not been offered to return to “The Bachelor” season 20. When asked if he will consider doing another reality series, the 26-year-old said that he will have to weigh the pros and cons of it. He also shared that he was “very single” at the moment and has not dated anyone since he joined “The Bachelorette.”
Higgins added that meeting Bristowe was definitely one of the highlights of joining the reality series. He said that getting to know someone as amazing as her definitely encouraged him to find true love.
