According to Ebuzz Now, last Sunday, Shawn Booth left a message for Nick Viall. In his uploaded video on his official YouTube channel, he asked his fellow former “The Bachelorette 2015” contestant to join him in an extraordinary campaign this November.
Booth directly addressed Viall to put their differences aside and “come together” for the Movember campaign that tackles about a very significant issue on men’s health.
In his video, the 28-year-old grand winner of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Bachelorrette, invited the 35-year-old hunk to join his group for Movember, a campaign where men donates money and grow out mustaches during the month of November in order to raise alertness and money for men’s health issues that includes testicular cancer, prostate cancer and more.
Booth started his video message by greeting Viall and mentioning their past rivalry for Bristowe’s final rose.
“What’s up, Nick? I hope all is well. Obviously, the past is in the past and we’ve both moved on,” says Booth in his video.
Booth went on by saying that he wanted to reach out for Viall to help him in his campaign to raise awareness for men’s health. He then asked the man to support the cause of the campaign.
Moreover, Booth explained how testicular and prostate cancer affect his family and himself and could also easily affect one of each men in the future.
In his interview with People magazine, Booth once again acknowledges what had happened to “The Bachelorette” and said “it’s been a long time since everything happened, and we all moved on.”
Booth added that it would be really great if they put aside the rivalry and get along with each other to get people be aware of Movember campaign.
Adding on, the site stated that Shawn Booth felt a little nervous over his decision of growing a mustache.
“I’m all about the beard, and I never go clean-shaven, so my mustache is terrible. I’m just hoping that I can get a decent mustache by the end of the month. Maybe I’ll do some handle bars or Fu Manchu kind of deal.” –People
On the other hand, Kaitlyn Bristowe seems to be totally on board for her fiancee’s new look.
“I keep trying to cover his mouth and his beard and see what he’d look like with just a mustache, and I kind of dig it!” –People
