“Bates Motel” Season 2 Episode 7 “Presumed Innocent” Episode Recap:

“Bates Motel” Season 2 Episode 6 “Plunge” (air date: April 7, 2014) literally took a deep one when events continued to escalate in White Pine Bay as we dig deeper on the show’s main characters.

It seems Norman is a “walking time bomb” with his uncontrollable “meltdowns” as he gets to interact with the other characters in the show. This has been followed by recurring blackouts from his childhood past. Norman lashed it all out on Cody (Paloma Kwiatkowski) encouraging a disabled Emma (Olivia Cooke) to jump in the river. Then, he had his own moments with his mother after his lady loves confessed about his strange “blackouts.” He accidentally (and partly on purpose) pushed Cody’s father down the stairs, which led to his death.

Hollywood News Daily reported on the latest scoop and details of  “Bates Motel” Season 2 Episode 7 “Presumed Innocent.” The said episode put Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) on the hot seat after getting involved with the death of Cody’s father. To make things even worse, Romero (Nestor Carbonell) resumed his Sheriff duties by working on the case of Miss Watson’s mysterious death.

Meanwhile, Zane (Michael Eklund) took his revenge on Dylan (Max Thieriot), who had previously saved him in the shootout. In the previous episodes, Jodi (Kathleen Robertson) amped up her boss-employee relationship with Dylan by prepping him for the leadership position. It is also unknown to Zane that Dylan had slept with his sister.

Now that Norma learned about Norman’s frequent blackouts, she started to question her trust on her son and whether she should tell him the truth. Also in this episode, she resorted to desperate measures so that she will not lose him completely. She did everything , even confronting Cody(Paloma Kwiatkowski) about her son.

“Bates Motel” Season 2 Episode 7 “Presumed Innocent” was directed by Roxann Dawson and written by Alexandra Cunningham. After “Presumed Innocent,” “Bates Motel” Season 2 Episode 8 “Meltdown” is set to be aired on April 21, 2014.

And that’s it for the latest “Bates Motel” recap. “Bates Motel” Season 2 Episode 7 “Presumed Innocent” aired on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 10 p.m. on A&E. Watch out for more news about “Bates Motel” including recaps and spoilers, only here at Movie News Guide (MNG).
