The countdown to the most epic battle continues. Brawl between the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is the only thing fans are looking forward to seeing on-screen. In order to furthermore push and promote the movie, latest rumors suggest that two different teasers and an official second trailer will be released in the coming months.
As per Heroic Hollywood, Warner Bros. is planning to release two separate teasers for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” in October, which will further lead to a full blown second official trailer of the movie in November. These two said teasers will be of a minute’s duration and one of them will focus on the Dark Knight and the other one will focus on the Man of Steel. This perhaps is being done to put forward both the sides (accuser and accused) in the movie.
It is being said that the Superman centric teaser will be attached to “Supergirl” premiere on October 26th on CBS while the Batman centric teaser will be attached to “Gotham” on Fox. Following the two teasers, a second official trailer will be releasing in November on Thanksgiving. The trailer will reportedly be attached to “Creed,” which is releasing in November. Apart from “Creed,” chances are the trailer could be attached to “SPECTRE” or “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.”
Comicbook.com added that the release of two teasers is being done this way to elevate the “Supergirl” and “Gotham” rivalry on TV. The media outlet also added that since “Supergirl” is not going to premiere in its usual time slot, fans would be able to see both the shows and watch both the teasers on TV. It surely is a smart move to attach the Superman centric teaser with “Supergirl” and the Batman centric teaser with “Gotham” because both the respective shows are a part of the respective superhero’s universes and also happen to be pivotal characters in their lives.
