As we know “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is full of special effects, something that was revealed recently. Without the effects the movie probably won’t look the way it actually looks. What if the movie is re-imagined as a movie made back in the day, specifically the 40’s? Here’s how a 1949 version of the movie would look like.
Vulture was the one who came up with this brilliant idea of re-imagining one of the most awaited and iconic superhero movies of next year in the past. According to the mash-up footage made out of a combination of shots from the Batman and Superman TV series, both Superman and Batman look like they have just put on the first set of costume they could imagine wearing and started to fight crime or rather jump hap hazardously from one point to another.
However, the footage still looks nothing but amusing and gives the feeling of vintage awesomeness. Obviously, present day fans might not really connect with it as instead of sporting massive armor like costumes, Superman and Batman can be seen wearing sack like costume and instead of their bulging and muscular physique they have to rely on their facial expressions.
Given the advancement in technology, movies have made these days, Zack Snyder’s mega movie would kind of be difficult to imagine back in the day. Speaking about the movie, Comicbook.com reported the rumored budgets for the upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and the two “Justice League” movies.
According to the media outlet, “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” could actually be the most expensive superhero movie ever produced as the budget of the movie is said to be at $410 million. Compared to rival studio Marvel that produced “Avengers” in an approximate budget of $220 million and $280 million for “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” this seems to be an ambitious budget, which further implies that the movie is bigger than we expect.
As far as “Justice League” movies are concerned, both the movies will be made on a combined budget of $500 million, which is ironically half of what the rumored budget of “Avengers: Infinity War- Part I & II” is. Ultimately, whether its true or not, all the cost that is being invested into making these movies will prove to be worth it because superhero genre tends to earn loads of cash in worldwide gross and because of its overall popularity. “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will release next year on 25th March.
