“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” will soon be releasing its second official trailer and with only 3 months left for the movie to release, fans still are pleading to know who that other villain is for whom the holy trinity of DC will unite. Zack Snyder may have answered this question rather cleverly months back.
According to Movie Pilot, ever since the first trailer released, fans have been trying to look closely at every single frame of the trailer but haven’t been able to figure out who the other villain is. This particular villain must really be significant because in the end Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman can be seen united against it. If we were to analyze what Zack Snyder said about the villain, it seems Metallo who was being aimed for “Man of Steel 2,” might just have made an early debut in the DCEU.
According to the director for “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” they didn’t want to use a creature from outer space because Brainiac is already in consideration for the first “Justice League” movie, which is tentatively titled “Justice League: Brainiac Saga.”
Since few months back, Snyder mentioned that he is making a sequel to “Man of Steel” and it happens to be “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” using Metallo as the other villain for this movie makes sense.
Other than the Batman and Superman conflict, the movie also has Lex Luthor and his attempts at bringing down the latter. Since he already has Kryptonite and General Zod’s body, he could experiment on Zod’s body and come to a conclusion that Kryptonite is a major weakness for all Kryptonians. Ultimately with the technology that he has, he could design Metallo or maybe an army of Metallos and attack Superman with that! Batman and Wonder Woman would of course help Superman in defeating Metallo.
Wired added the new teaser of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” that was recently released with “Gotham” and focuses on the probable dream sequence that Batman has in the movie. Batman can be seen chained up along with couple of other people when Superman lands in the underground facility. With an angry expression he unmasks Batman and we get to see Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne looking back at him. With the second trailer releasing tomorrow, it is like an early Christmas present for everyone.
