“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is kicking off the DC Cinematic Universe and will possibly uncover or at least throw some hints about past or future events in the DC Universe. One of the most tragic incidents in the DC Universe is said to be the death of Jason Todd. Jason was killed at the hands of the Joker and Batman could never come in terms with his death.
For all those who have seen the movie trailer might have noticed a Robin costume that has a message spray-painted on it. The message seems to be from Joker & since Jason was the only Robin killed at the hands of Joker, it can be very well assumed that the costume belongs to him. There have been reports about who could play the role of Robin if they were to show a bit of a flashback and a new update on the same might just give us a clue.
According to Ecumenical News, a recent Instagram post from director Zack Snyder might just reveal something crucial to upcoming “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”. Details about to what extent will Robin have a role in the upcoming movie have been kept under wraps and so are the details about which actor is being considered for the role.
However, there have been rumors about Zack Snyder’s son Eli being a part of the movie. If rumors are to be believed then Eli will be playing the role of Robin although how long will his role be is not yet known. Everyone involved with the production of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” have been absolutely quiet about it, but as mentioned earlier, a post from Zack Snyder is enough for enthusiasts to put forward some theories. In the Instagram post, Zack can be seen standing with his son and perhaps the most interesting part of the photo is the caption, which says “Boy Wonder?” For all those who are aware, Boy Wonder was a nickname for Robin and if the rumors are true then Eli Snyder could actually look nice in and as the Robin.
Nothing has been confirmed as of yet but fans have been speculating that there will be a flashback scene in the movie involving Jared Leto’s Joker and Robin. Till the time an official announcement is made, this rumor should be enough for DC enthusiasts to come up with their own theories about the character and his involvement in the movie.
