‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’: Wonder Woman has an Important Part

If you think “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has only two important characters to the story, then you might have to think again. The movie, which is set to introduce other future “Justice League” characters has not yet revealed anything about what the other characters might be doing. Amongst these other characters, there’s one very important to the storyline of this movie and that happens to be Wonder Woman. Not much has been disclosed about what the Amazonian Princess will be doing but with her around, one can surely expect something big.

According to Latino Post, director Zack Snyder, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly’s Comic Con issue revealed that Wonder Woman will be affecting the plot of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice”. Latino Post also quoted the director’s interview with Flickering Myth in which he added that her part is “super-important” and she will prove to be a gateway drug to the rest of the “Justice League”.

Wonder Woman being called a gateway drug can only hint at she being the reason why both the titans will end their fight and how eventually all the heroes will unite and form one of the strongest teams in the comic world. With her entry in the movie, it will also become easy for the two battling heroes to enter the first and second part of the “Justice League” movies due to release in 2017 and 2019 respectively. A character portrait that was released earlier, showed Gal Gadot as the Wonder Woman holding a sword and gave a feeling of being prepared for what is going to come. In a couple of photos that were released recently, Wonder Woman’s alter ego Diana was also seen dancing with Batman’s Bruce Wayne. That only supports the fact that she will have a substantial role in the upcoming movie.

With “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” screenwriter Chris Terrio already finishing the script for the two parter “Justice League” movies, it would be amazing to see what DC Cinematic Universe brings to the silver screen.
