“Batman vs. Superman” will reportedly be released on May 6, 2016 and a lot of fans are excited about this. However, there is also a “Captain America” movie slated for the same date as “Batman vs. Superman.” Will this cause a problem? Which movie will move their release date? Well, it looks like no one is budging. Read on to find out more about “Batman vs. Superman,” especially about its scheduled movie release date which coincides with the next “Captain America” movie.

Warner Bros. President of domestic distribution Dan Fellman spoke to Bloomberg about the scheduled movie release date of “Batman vs. Superman.”

“It doesn’t make a lot of sense for two huge superhero films to open on the same date but there is a lot of time between now and then. However, we are not considering a change of date for ‘Batman vs. Superman,’ said Fellman in the Bloomberg interview.

Meanwhile, Marvel and Disney didn’t respond to Bloomberg’s requests for comment about the schedules movie date of the new “Captain America” movie, which will coincide with “Batman vs. Superman.”

“Batman Vs. Superman” is already in pre-production and is directed by Zack Snyder. Cast members include Amy Adams who will play Lois Lane again, Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.

As of the moment, it looks like “Batman vs. Superman” is not budging and will not move its scheduled movie release date. Two superhero movies in one month? This can get pretty exciting and we would love to see both, but a lot of people will be torn on what to see first. Will they go for DC’s “Batman vs. Superman,” or will they pick “Captain America” first?  On the other hand, let’s see which movie will move its release date in the end or are they going to stick to their scheduled movie release dates after all? A lot of questions left unanswered for now about these two superhero films!

Rest assured that all will be revealed in time. For more updates on “Batman vs. Superman,” catch it here at Movie News Guide (MNG).
